An exact Elizabethan madrigal wafted on deaf ears.
The courtiers were full of hoppy beers and fatty duck.
And fell about laughing through drunk tears.
A party boat floating on river stink.
Twinkling with silver threads and pearls.
Their powdered heads mocked the river side crowd.
Who looked back at the Royal charade.
